This is specific to addressing issues with our migration to hosted Exchange:


Click on the Windows search box at the bottom of the screen and type Control Panel

Double click on the Mail icon

Select Show Profiles

Select the radio button next to Prompt for a profile to be used

Select Ok

Close the window


Open Outlook

Select Options >> 

Select New

Enter a profile name.  This can be anything from Outlook to email to Whatever

With the Outlook window open, select Advanced options and check the box next to Let me set up my account manually

Select Connect

Pre cutting over to hosted Exchange, select Exchange 2013 or earlier

Post cut over to hosted Exchange, select Exchange

In the Offline settings window, uncheck the box next to Use Cached Exchange Mode to download email to an Outlook data file.

Select Next

Uncheck the box next to Setup Outlook Mobile on my phone too. 

Select Done

Check the box next to Set as default profile and Ok
